There are 3 to choose from! The cost is $125 per month for one three hour class per week. Or you can take all three of the classes for just $25 more. The downloadable recordings are included in the monthly fee. When there is a 5th week for any class you are attending, that is also included for free. That is just $31.25 per class with the recording included and a possible 5th week free! These classes are year round, charging by the calendar month. *if you decide to drop in for just one class at a time, the fee is $40 per class.

The online classes offered are:
Tuesday 10:00-1:00 This class offers the opportunity to be part of a larger group studying oils and heavy painted mediums like acrylic as well. This is more of a traditional type class and the mediums as well as details in paintings are pushed to the limits. Beginners to advance.

Wednesday 10:00-1:00 This class offers the opportunity to study People, Figure, & Animals in all mediums. We really look deeply into what makes a great portrait. Realism is the goal, but impressionism is a bonus. It is a very precise learning skill class dedicated to understanding the intricacies that apply to painting portraits.  Portraits aren't easy, but if you have the desire to learn, I am the right person to learn from.

Thursday 10:00-1:00 This class offers the opportunity to study Watercolor, simple ideas, and basic ideas for other mediums as well. We often mix mediums by adding pastels or inks to our watercolors. We experiment in this class. Many acrylic painters enjoy this class as well. Beginners are welcome! Experimenters are expected.

Class formats:
Every week there is a different 1 hour lecture /demonstration, then we talk about the painting that each person is working on individually while working together in our own spaces but not feeling alone. I help as needed while we enjoy the company of others. I don’t expect anyone to paint what I paint, unless that is a goal. You can work in any medium you want during any of the classes. The lectures are limited to the mediums that I have written after the class times.

Each week on Monday, I send an email out with the class links that describe the lectures for each class. You can choose between the classes and attend on different days of the week if you wish, stick to the same class every week, or attend more than one.

We cover so many subjects and work through so many problems in these classes.

I also offer a few private lessons at $95 per hour. These are limited to a few students and can be scheduled in advance according to my time availability.

Going Forward online … making life great by being together in art.

-On Tuesday Morning 10:00-1:00  EXPRESSIVE PAINTING CLASS - The demonstration & lecture will be week two on the painting based on “VIEW OF THE RHYNE RIVER”.   We will be working on a painting from the attached photo from my trip to France.  It is a beautiful site to see, the wide and long Rhine River and a gorgeous landscape to paint.    (pay now to receive the class link)  Classes come with a downloadable link to review the class afterwards.

Next weeks: FRANCE – the Eiffel Tower, French life, Giverny.

-On Wednesday Morning 10:00-noon PORTRAITS, ANIMALS, & THE HUMAN FORM - “SELF PORTRAITS”  In the month of January, we will be exploring Self-Portraits.  Who has painted them? How many ways are there to portray ourselves?  How do we make them personal?  What do we want to reveal about ourselves?  There are so many portrait painters out there who have delved into this free subject and used photos or mirrors to do so.  How would you express your self- portrait? I have painted or drawn about 9 so far.  I have attached a couple to share with you. (pay now to receive the class link) Classes come with a downloadable link to review the class afterwards.

Next weeks: More on Self-Portraits during the month of January!

-On Thursday Morning 10:00-1:00:   “EIFFEL TOWER in watercolor ”   (photo attached)  This is not my photo and we will be taking it out of context in this photo.  It is an iconic structure that will not infringe on the copyrights as long as you do not copy the clouds, and scene.  We will explore how to set the sun behind it and make a colorful image with our own skills at adding in a background of our own.   (pay now to receive the class link)  Classes come with a downloadable link to review the class afterwards.

Next week: Watercolors from your travels or for your travels.  How to paint from life outdoors.

I hope your week is going well.  If you need any help during the weekend, I am available to get your through the difficult moments. Please do text for help if needed.

All my very best wishes for a happy, healthy, & successful new year!

See you soon!
